About us
Our Vision
The SOSAC foundation is concerned about the current status the people of Somalia are in. We hope for a better future for the people where is no such thing happening as climate disasters devasting millions of livelihoods, mass-hunger, having no access to healthcare, having almost no doctors and having more than half of the country’s children who are not educated.

Our Mission
The SOSAC Foundation is committed to ending the humanitarian crisis in Somalia. We do this by developing projects with an eye for transparency, cooperation with the local community and the maintenance of the project by local communities themselves after completion of the project. We also offer emergency aid to counteract short-term damage from humanitarian and natural disasters. In addition, we contribute (financially) to crucial institutions such as schools, hospitals and the like purely to maintain them, on condition that the institution provides added social value to the community.

Why Sool Sanaag Cayn
Somalia is facing many difficulties and we, the SOSAC Foundation, are addressing the problem in the regions that are behind compared to the rest. These regions have not received help from any other NGOs and thus we deem it neccessary to help these locals as well. Providing aid to the Sool, Sanaag and Cayn regions of Somalia was previously difficult because armed conflict was an obstacle to doing so. This is now a thing of the past. With the successful democratic elections, calm and peace has spread to the regions of Sool, Sanaag and Cayn. This is the turning point from a miserable past and the best time to step in to offer assistance without the effort being undone by armed conflict.
Who we are
SOSAC Foundation is founded by Dutch citizens who have a Somali background and are concerned with the ongoing situation in Somalia. The SOSAC foundation is located and active in The Netherlands. We strive to give humanitarian aid and improve the climate-resiliency on multiple facets, improve food and agriculture, improve (access to) healthcare, improve the quality and quantity of education given and lastly promote the rights of the locals and amplify their voices.
